Introducing MEDLink’s Medicare Secondary Payer Services

Posted by | February 1, 2012 | Blog

It’s certainly been a busy two years for MEDLink. Now, after a lot of hard work, we are pleased to announce the MEDLink Medicare Set-Aside and Life Care Plan website.

MEDLink  is a women owned business, which provides customized Medicare Secondary Payer Services that includes Medicare Set-Asides (MSAs), Life Care Plans (LCPs), and Home Health Care (HHC) Assessments. You can rely on our experience to help protect your interests from the filing of the initial claim to final Medicare approval.

Since 2004, MEDLink has prepared over 900 objective, customized Medicare Set-Aside Arrangements and Life Care Plans. We conduct a detailed medical care and medication investigation for a WC settlement, prepare comparative pricing analyses, and select the most reasonable pricing method(s). We provide a realistic MSA and/or Life Care Plan (LCP), to facilitate your settlement and obtain Medicare CMS approval.

MEDLink’s principal owner is Janice Skiljo Haris, RN, MS, specializing in Medicare Set-Asides, Life Care Plans, Medical Care Cost Projections, and Medical-Legal Practice Management Services. Ms. Haris has 26 years of experience in current California workers’ compensation rules/regulations and maintains current expertise and accreditations necessary to meet MSA standards.

We believe that the MSA process should involve the entire Settlement Team in every step until final approval.  It requires Medicare expertise, legal review and assistance, depositary administration of the MSA, and settlement funding expertise. All MSAs are prepared and finalized by a RN with experience in Workers’ Compensation and certified in MSA and Life Care Planning. To date, all MSAs submitted by MEDLink have been approved by CMS
